The short version
- You keep ownership of everything you put into Flyst. We only process it to run the service.
- Use Flyst lawfully, keep your credentials safe, and don't try to break or overload it.
- Workspace admins control membership and permissions inside their workspace.
- Integrations you connect are governed by their own providers' terms.
- We'll give notice before material changes and before suspending access where practical.
Agreement to these terms#
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Techyst for your use of Flyst. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or otherwise using Flyst, you agree to these terms.
If you use Flyst for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization. In that case, “you” also refers to the organization.
Accounts and access#
You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly tell us if you believe an account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from our failure to use reasonable security measures.
Workspace owners and administrators control membership, roles, permissions, and content within their workspace. Their actions may affect your access to workspace data.
Acceptable use#
You may use Flyst only in compliance with applicable law and these terms. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, evade security or usage limits, distribute malware, or use Flyst to infringe the rights of others.
You must not use automated means to overload or scrape the service except through interfaces we expressly provide or permit.
Your content#
You retain the rights you have in the projects, issues, attachments, comments, and other content you submit to Flyst. You give Techyst the limited permission needed to host, copy, transmit, display, back up, and otherwise process that content to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content and make it available to other members of your workspace.
Service operation#
We may maintain, update, change, or discontinue features to keep Flyst useful, secure, and reliable. We will try to provide reasonable notice when a material change is likely to significantly reduce core functionality.
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, Flyst is provided on an “as available” basis and does not include a guaranteed service level.
Third-party services#
Flyst may connect to services you choose to enable. Those services are governed by their providers’ terms and privacy practices, and some components of Flyst are provided under separate licenses that govern those components.
Suspension and termination#
You may stop using Flyst at any time. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a security risk, prevent harm, comply with law, or respond to a material breach of these terms. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
On termination, your right to use Flyst ends. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and accrued obligations—will survive.
Ownership#
Except for your content and separately licensed components, Techyst and its licensors retain all rights in Flyst, its branding, documentation, design, and service technology. These terms do not grant either party rights to the other party’s names, logos, or trademarks.
Disclaimers and liability#
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Flyst is provided without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Techyst will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, or business opportunities arising from use of Flyst. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact#
We may update these terms as Flyst or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised terms here and update the effective date. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to provide additional notice.
If you have questions about these terms, contact Techyst.
